HUMANITY

 

Looking at the world at large, to see how much humans had evolved. Scientifically, animals undergo the process of evolution. That's when we hear that some animals had gone into extinction. Comparing the life then and the life now, we could see how much humans had evolved. In terms of character, psyche, growth and activities. We claim to love one another, only to find out that our love is so selfish and self centered. We sometimes take risks for others, not because we truly love them but because of what we are going to gain from it. The word “humanity” has become an extinct word in the world today. Humanity is now replaced with self love, self centeredness and selfishness. We now show kindness to others, not because we really wanna be kind to them but because of the profits that comes from it. I've heard so many stories and I could come to an end point that it's not that we do not love eachother but sometimes we just want to protect ourselves. Sometimes we are selfish with our desires. Sometimes we don't wanna inconvenient ourselves for the sake of others. A lady once said

“I don't believe in humanity. I don't believe in loving others. I just pretend to so that it won't be like I am a sadist. It isn't my fault. I was raised in a home that believe and so much adore others. But a particular incident changed everything. My dad's closest friend actually ruined my dad's career all because he was better than he is. That led to my dad's downfall. Imagine someone you so much love just suddenly blew off everything you've used your whole life to gather. I trust no one. In fact I don't believe in you being kind to others because they will end up destroying you”

I was moved not because of the anger bottled up in her but because I saw the beauty of her broken soul. It's not that she doesn't have the love in her but she has so much programmed her mind that when people start showing her love, she interprets it to danger. A lot of people we see daily are like this. Probably you are even part of them. Stop restricting the love you have for people. Let humanity be seen in you. Show kindness to others. Even though you've been hurt severally, all because of the love you show to others, forgive them and don't ever let that incidence to affect the nature in you. The nature in you is beautiful and lovely. Will you let the hurt you got from someone ruin everything? Will you let it ruin that beautiful soul you have? Release ever hurts you've been holding all this years. Breathe it out and breath in the true nature of the Creator. Despite how much the creatures and the creations went against God, he still loves them all. He gave his only son for the remission of our sins. Who would ever do that? His only son? Offer him as a sacrifice for the sins of the world. Waoh! What a great love. Sometimes, I just think about this. Why would you sacrifice your only son for my sins and yet when I do the wrong things, you still love me. And I could hear in my spirit “because you are mine. Because I love you and will never let you go astray. You are mine”. And sometimes I just break down in tears. What a love! Look at how much God loves us all. Will you now let the hurts in you, make you to hate your fellow humans. Why don't you release that burden. Cast all your cares (pains , hurts, lacks etc) on him(God) for he cares for you. 

Now, I would like to teach you something beautiful. I use this alot of times and it is always working for me and I believe it would work for you too. When someone hurts you, remember humans are creatures created by the Creator (God). Look at that person through the eyes of the Creator. What will God do? He forgives me no matter the weight of my sins. How much more my fellow human? I'm so sure that immediately the hurt will leave. Practice this often and often till it becomes very easy to forgive others. 

The Truth is this, there is no sin too big to forgive. It's the state of your mind that dictates that to you. Yes! It might hurt you so bad but look at it through the eyes of the Creator. Does this really matters?  You only put yourself in bondage when you refuse to forgive others. The person that offended you is out there living his or her life. He or she may not even know that they offended you. And you are there bottling up the pains, anger, strife etc. Why are you killing yourself? Just release it out and breathe in the nature of the Creator. And that's Love!

Sometimes you forgive, but you find it hard to forget it. When you see the person that hurt you in the past, it's as if another level of anger boils in you. If you are finding it hard to forget, it shows you have to heal up. Your mind need to be healed. I want you to say after me;

“dear Father, thank you for the gift of your son, Jesus Christ. Thank you for the love you have and will always have for me. I have forgiven .....(mention the name of the person) but I am finding it hard to forget. Pls help my heart. Heal my mind oh Lord. That your name be glorified in me and in the love I will show to others. Thank you for healing my soul. Amen”

Probably you don't know what the love of Christ is. He came in the form of flesh so that he could die and take away your sins. He was ridiculed, disgraced, beaten, mocked all because of the love he has for you. He died, was buried and on the third day, he was raised back in glory and honor so that you won't pass through that anymore. If you believe and confess it, then you are saved from eternal damnation. Now, you are part of the family of Christ. Congratulations!
