THE UNFAMILIAR ROAD

Every one wants to live a great life. Everyone wants to be different but not everyone is ready to walk through the unknown. Not everyone is ready to walk through the unfamiliarity. The truth is that every one of us are different. We possess qualities and characters that differentiate us. Those qualities are the foundation of our uniqueness. I often hear people say “if you want to succeed in life, follow the footsteps of those that have succeeded”. To me, that shouldn't be the basis of your beginning. It is good to have mentors, people that you look up to but don't forget that what will make you is already inside of you. You have not just discovered it. Probably you've even discovered it but you don't know how to use what you have to get to the places you are aiming for. We all have super powers. Our super Powers is seen in our uniqueness. Alot of people would have gotten better if only they acknowledge their true being rather than trying to walk like the way someone has once walked. Inside you is a gold mine. You must keep digging. Your potentials just don't end in one thing. No! Inside that potential is another potential you are yet to discover. The more you use it, the clearer it becomes. Don't try to walk someone else's road. Walk your path! Leave out every distractions and stay focused! Get out of the familiar zone. Get out of that comfort zone. Lock out the known world and find your true self. 

The journey to the unfamiliar is not a small journey. He who wants to wear a crown must know the weight of that crown. The unfamiliar road is demanding. 

It will stretch you. It will force you out of comfortability. It will separate you from others. You might feel lonely at some point but don't go back into comfort. Be comfortable with the uncomfortable. Keep digging! Keep mining! Find out your uniqueness because it is what will stand as your signature. That when people don't see you, your works will tell them about you! Separate from the crowd! Your voice can't be heard in the crowd. It is until you get out of it and stand higher before you can be heard. 

In the journey of life, don't ever try to leave out God. Don't try to go ahead of him. Let him take the lead and you follow him. The journey looks more beautiful and inspiring when you don't just walk your own walk alone, rather you walk with God. Let him take the lead and you follow with all sincerity and humbleness. One problem that most people face is that when God is moving them at a particular Pace, they tend to be sluggish. They lack sensitivity. Most of them are the cause of their own delay. They are their own stumbling block all because they can't just leave out comfort. Be sensitive to every moves of God in your life. Be sensitive to times and seasons. Always be at alert. God works in different ways. You must be ready to walk in different ways too if you are truly Walking with God. If you are in your waiting season, hold onto God. The waiting season is not a season of enjoyment or relaxation. It is a season of preparation. This is the time you have to double your efforts. Go extra miles because what comes after waiting is launching. Be fully prepared for your launching season. Don't wait for things to happen, make things happen. 

Remember, the unfamiliar road is a road less travelled by people. If you actually walk in it, you are a champion! Listen; in your life, Don't let comfortability come before uncomfortability. The joy you get there won't last. But make uncomfortability come before comfortability. By so doing, you will experience a lasting joy!
