THE JOURNEY

 

    Every human on Earth has a journey to walk here on Earth. We all have a destination. Our journey leads to eternity but where you will stay in eternity depends on the choice you make here on Earth. The journey of a believer is to eternal life. An entry into the kingdom of God. A journey into immortality. Every human is a surjourner here on Earth but it's a pity that many has become wanderers. They walk with no direction. They have no focus. They are carried to and fro by the forces of the world. As someone that has come into the family of Christ, your journey is no longer your decision. It is what God wants that you should do. Christ is now your Lord. And a Lord oversee all things and direct you. You no longer make decisions on your own because you now have the understanding that you don't have your own life. The life you have now is the life of God and you are a representation of him here on earth. You exhibit what he wants. His grace upon you is for purpose. 

   There is a reason why you were created. You are not created for your self i.e for the betterment of your life only. You are created for God's pleasure. Those potentials he has put in you is not for yourself but for his pleasure. The way you give pleasure to God is by expressing his gifts in you to humanity. When use it for his glorification, it gives him so much pleasure. He smiles. He becomes Happy because his creature is walking according to what pleases him. In matt 5:14, the Bible says “ye are the light of the world. A city set on the hill cannot be hid”. You are the light of the world but what matters is how you use that light in you. Do you know that some destinies are connected to yours. And if you don't rise, they won't rise. God has called everyone of us into different aspects of life. Do you think that God placed you in that position just to be rich or popular? No! He placed you there because you are to stand as a light there. A lot of destinies are connected to yours, that if you don't fulfil your purpose, lives will be affected. God is placing you in that department for a reason. You are to shine light there. When someone is holding a lamp at night, and he switches it on, do you know that he is not the only one befitting from it. The people around him are also benefitting from it. That's how you should be. Let me give another scenerio; There are 20 people in a large dark room. Every one of them is holding a lamp. The all faced different directions. When each of them switches on the light they are holding, the whole room is illuminated. Why? Because they were all holding a source of light and they switched it on. Each Rays of light meet with other days of light thereby causing reflection to different directions. That is the same way we God wants us to be. We are to stand as a light in every direction we face. The large dark room represents the world, the lamps represent the light of God in us that is to be shone to every darkness of the world. Imagine if everyone is radiating the light in them. The world will become bright and better. You are a radiator of God's glory and you must show forth that glory not because of your self but because your light will lighten up the path of people in darkness. Imagine you having a light and the people around you are in darkness. And you left them there, wallowing in iniquities, confusion, depression etc. How will God feel? He gave you the necessary things for you to be a light for them and you refused. What a loss to the kingdom! 

Destinies are tied to you. And if you refuse to rise God will raise another person but it will take time and those lives will be waiting for a light. Some might even die in the darkness. What a loss! Raising someone else in place of you will be the end result but it will take time. God doesn't use vessels anyhow. He takes them through series of training in order to make them perfect for the purpose. God is not looking for a perfect man. He makes an imperfect man perfect for his use. Don't be a loss to the kingdom. Rise to your calling! Take up that Cross. See, it is never easy. Remember that it is not just you alone. It is for others too. This journey comes with pains, sacrifices, inconveniences but you have to rise! Will you let the kingdom suffer a big loss all because of your laziness? Or will you let the vanities of the world take away the light of God in you. Arise! God might have called you into the business sector or education sector, Pastoral sector, health sector or any other sector in life. Rise! Radiate that glory of God in you. Let the world see that and let them turn their ways back to God. As a woman, you might just be called for your family purpose. God might take you through many series of training all because through you, destinies will be born. You womb carries seeds that will stand as a mighty representation of God here on earth. God will deal with you seriously because he won't joke with his anointed that he has placed in you. Those trainings are for you to train up those children that way so that they will be what God has ordained them to be. Arise! O ye generation! For the sake of the generations to come and for the sake of the kingdom. If we could all rise to our calling, then we are preparing a strong ground for the generations to come. The devil won't be able to tamper with their soul because we are already in front of the battlefield for them. Arise! Rise up to that calling. Shun laziness and procastination. Arise! The journey isn't gonna be easy but you will know that you've played your part in the ancestral lineage of the pattern of sons that God has placed you in. 

   We are all in this journey. We will all finish well! Amen!!!
